Cachin Rock turns your phone into a route-drawing canvas and every session you log into clear, honest infographics — so you always know exactly what to work on next.
From photo beta to progression trends, Cachin Rock is built around the way climbers actually train, log, and improve.
Snap gym problems, spray walls, or outdoor lines and draw holds, footwork, and movement paths directly on the photo.
Max grade, flash rate, and climbing volume rendered as clean, interactive charts you'll actually look at again.
Session volume index, intensity load, and rest-to-climb ratios calculated automatically from your logged sessions.
See your performance split across slabs, overhangs, roofs, and vertical walls to find strengths you didn't know you had.
Map climbing days, rest intervals, and daily ascent logs on a clean, interactive calendar grid.
Tailored training focus tips based on recent attempt history and failed project data — no guessing what's next.
This is the same math behind the app's load tools — drag the sliders to match a real session and watch your numbers update instantly.
We're a small crew of boulderers who got tired of stuffing beta sketches into camera rolls and progress notes into apps that had nothing to do with climbing. Cachin Rock started between gym sessions and turned into the logbook we always wished existed — built by climbers, for climbers.
Our mission is simple: help you climb smarter, not just harder. Grades plateau, memory fades, and beta gets lost between sessions — so we built a tool that captures the details that actually move your climbing forward and hands them back to you as something you can act on.
Cachin Rock turns your phone into a beta-drawing canvas and your climbing history into real analytics. Snap a photo, mark the holds and footwork, log every flash and send, and watch your volume, intensity, and terrain breakdown turn into charts that actually tell you something.
Read the rock. Draw the beta. Climb the data.
Cachin Rock ("the App," "we," "our") is built around one principle: your climbing data belongs to you and only you. This policy explains, in plain terms, how the App handles information.
We collect nothing. There's no account, no username, no email sign-up, no location tracking, and no advertising identifiers. Every ascent you log, beta drawing you sketch, hold tag you color, and calendar entry you make is created by you and stays with you.
Since we don't collect anything, we don't use, analyze, or sell anything either. Beta drawing, session volume math, intensity load scoring, and terrain breakdowns all run entirely on your device, using only the data already stored there.
All app data — photos, annotated topo images, logbook entries, attempt history, and calendar records — stays stored locally on your device. There's no cloud database, no remote server, and no backend holding your content.
Cachin Rock does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or SDKs that harvest usage data. There's nothing to share with partners, because nothing ever leaves your device.
Because your logs, photos, and beta drawings never leave your device, your information is only as exposed as your device itself. Standard device protections — passcode, biometric lock, encrypted backups — keep it secure.
Cachin Rock does not knowingly or otherwise collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age, including children under 13. The App is compliant with COPPA by design, not by policy exception.
You're always in full control. Because everything lives locally, deleting the App permanently removes all associated logbook entries, photos, and statistics — no cloud backups, no server copies, no account to close.
We may update this policy to reflect new features or clarify existing practices. Any changes will appear as an updated effective date at the top of this page.
